Space activities of APCO Technologies

APCO Technologies is active in different fields of space activities, mainly within ESA projects, but also takes part in commercial projects. Its activities are the design, manufacturing, integration and test of:

  • Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) for launchers and satellites components;
  • Flight structures and instruments.

Furthermore, through its Kourou (French Guyana) office, APCO Technologies takes an active part in the day to day operations of the European Space Port. APCO Technologies is in charge of:

  • the operations of the "Ensemble de Preparation des Charges Utiles (EPCU)"of the Space Port, facilities dedicated to the final integration and tests of the satellites before their transfer onto the launcher, and
  • the mechanical group of the “Bureau d’Etudes Techniques (BET)” of the Space Port, which is the local Technical Office.
